Tammy & Daniel were married at Farm Vigano in South Morang.
Here’s what they had to say about their big day.
Where did you meet?
We met on the dating app Tinder!
What was the first thing you decided on as a couple when arranging your big day?
We wanted a venue that would let us have our dog part of the ceremony, as he is part of the family!
What wedding vibe were you after?
Relaxed and for everyone to have a good time!
How did you choose your outfits?
Daniel went for a classic navy suit, no tie, and white shirt to enhance the relax vibe we wanted, and I bought a simple yet beautiful Grace Loves Lace dress, no train, no sparkles... again to reflect the people we are, easy going.
How did you decide on your venue?
It was easy to pick Farm Vigano as we loved the idea of the restaurant being a family home/property in the past and we had visions of our wedding night being a big party full of friends and family laughing, dancing and eating delicious shared Italian food... and we defiantly achievers this!
What was the most stressful part of the planning process?
The guest list- other people will advise you on who to include, but you must stick to what you two together as a couple want there to share in your special day. Don’t invite people to please the parents or others.
What was the best thing you did to make your wedding easier?
Book a venue that arranges the set up, food and service... it’s fine to organise everything yourself, but to know it’s all being professionally managed made the day run smoother.
Lots of people get nervous before their wedding, did you?
I think we were both more excited, and we had a first look just the two of us being walking down the aisle which took some nerves away!
Who was your stand out vendor?
We had so many compliments of our wonderful celebrant Sarita! She was professional, down to earth and gave a positive and loving vibe during the entire ceremony. She defiantly made that process super easy and reassuring as the ceremony was the most confronting as you are speaking very personal about your feelings for one and another in front of a large crowd.
Is there anything that you would change about your day?
Not at all... just that time could move slower so we could soak in more of the day as it goes in a flash!
Did anything go wrong on your day?
Thankfully nothing! The sun came out at the perfect time, our dog made it down with our rings and everyone was full and enjoying the alcohol just as we planned!
What was the funniest part of your day?
After the ceremony- being able to see everyone, talk and catch up, dance... it was a close family and friends party vibe!
Have you got any advise for a couple planning their wedding?
Enjoy the process as it’s more exciting than stressful, and if anything is stressing you out, rethink if it’s something you need to have or do or can someone else do it for you to take that pressure away! And also... do what you two as a couple want, no one else’s input or advice matters!
*we hired a music system and just had guests send us a song each for our playlist.
*we used a family member to MC.
*we used Uber for transport to the venue and home... delux Uber of course!
How has life changed since you got married?
It’s been amazing! We bought our family home down by the beach, added another puppy to the family and are currently waiting for the arrival of our first born!
