Michelle & Michael were married at Brunswick Food Store, Brunswick and here’s some advise they have to share with couples planning their big day.
How did you meet?
We met each other in primary school at the age of 11.
What was the first thing you decided on as a couple when arranging your big day?
Taking our wedding photos at the Redwood Forrest in East Warburton Victoria.
What wedding vibe were you after?
Fun, non traditional, exciting and PARTY!
How did you decide on your venue?
We initially booked a cafe restaurant for a stand up wedding and then last minute got cancelled by the owner. It let us to find out perfect venue that worked even better and fit everything we ever wanted.
What was the most stressful part of the planning process?
It wasn't too stressful once we saw it all coming together. Once we had most things booked we had one last thing to do and that was to find our celebrant. And Sarita made it so easy, it was like we had know her forever and she just understood what we wanted.
Lots of people get nervous before their wedding, did you?
We actually didn’t get too nervous. Having everyone play there part well in making our day flow it really did just all go to plan perfectly.
Who was your stand out vendor?
Both our Celebrant and Photographer were amazing and worked so great together in creating a special space for us to be in the moment.
What was the funniest part of your day?
We had a very long kiss when we were pronounced husband and wife.
Have you got any advise for a couple planning their wedding?
Have fun, don't stress, it's your day to enjoy no one else's. Pick vendors that get your vision and share the same vibe.
